Chase frowned slightly when his pager went off, but House was standing right in front of him. That didn't happen much. He glanced at the message and his brow furrowed a little more when he saw that it was from Anna and that she had to pick up a shift. He'd been eager too. Finally, they were getting off work early and he was going to have some time off. Work was work, though. He shrugged as casually as he could and looked up to hear the rest of House's little speech about how he wasn't doing his job right that day.
"Who was that?" House demanded immediately.
Chase shrugged, eyes turning to Foreman and Cameron. "Just Anna. She's working late."
House's lips curled up in a smirk. "At her work? At her stripper work?" Chase suppressed his scowl as House hitched up his cane and immediately reached for his phone, calling Wilson over with a brief, 'need you here. now.' That smirk was then turned up to Chase. "We're going to pay your girlfriend a bit of a visit. Foreman, you in? Cameron? Oh, come on, remember. Adventurous!"
Cameron just glared witheringly. "You're disgusting," she muttered half-heartedly.
"Believe it or not," Foreman scoffed, "I have better things to do in my time than ogle Chase's girlfriend."
Chase gave House a self-satisfied smirk, pleased that at least the minimal amount of people would be subjected to House's madness. Soon enough though, Foreman and Cameron were gone and Wilson had arrived. "What's up, you called?"
"Field trip," House announced, pushing Chase out the door with the car. "Junior's driving." Chase sighed slowly, but he went along with it, letting them bicker and tease in the car ride over and pulling up, heading inside and glancing over his shoulder to House to find him revelling in the atmosphere, as though he belonged there. "I'm home," House remarked with a chuckle. "Okay, where's your keeper?"
