[For Gwen]

Chase, using his wiles and his dastardly plotting, had used all his skills and smarts to escape the Doctor when he had his first chance. Of course, that basically boiled down to the Doctor turning his back long enough for Chase to slip out the door and start sprinting for home so he could bury his head under the nearest pillow, cuddle up with Atalanta, and wait for the day to completely be over.

Before he could get completely inside, though, he saw Gwen on the path and changed course, charging right for her and leeching right onto her leg, attaching himself arms and legs like a very tiny, very blond koala.

"Hi," he offered, peering up at her from all, all, all, all the way down.

It is a day for being accosted by children, apparently, and not the expected sort. Gwen's just left Nate in the care of Toshiko and Charlie, who were also looking after not only Jackson, but pint-sized versions of Jack and Ianto. They were ridiculously adorable, she has to admit, just like the wee blond clamped about her right leg now.

"Hello, sweetheart," she says as she stumbles to a graceless halt, and she has to stop herself from talking down to him, from affecting anything resembling a coo. This could very well be someone she knows.

It clicks, then, and Gwen has no idea how it took so long -- Rob looks exactly like himself, if he was about four years old. "You ran away," she echoes, and stoops to sweep him up into her arms. He's just shy of that age when children become too big for that sort of thing.

"That wasn't very nice of you, but I'm glad to see you," she says, settling him on her hip. "Give us a kiss," she adds, because he's darling and she can't resist.

"That is a bit strange, yes," Gwen concedes, but allows the Doctor a little quirkiness by virtue of the fact that his husband is now four, and, well... that he's himself.

"Will you be trick or treating today? There's sweets."
