Moonshine [Wilson, House]

It didn't take long or much, but he eventually wound up with two of Jay's jugs of moonshine. He'd make it up to Jay later, he theorized to himself, after all, House asked and Chase really didn't take to refusing House's requests very often. He carried them on both thumbs, heading back down to the lab where he'd left Wilson and House last.

He made sure no one caught him along the way, that would have been bad enough, and lifted the bottles as he arrived. "Success," he announced, handing one to Wilson and one to House.

With full control of the two bottles, Chase managed to pour himself a full glass, watching with horror as House sang Johnny Cash...and pretty well. But it was still a sight too surreal and he down a full cup, finishing his second.

Wilson was not the best dancer in the world. He didn't even dance as well as House sang. but he was drunk enough to not really care. To just move, and maybe even sing a long a little.

House didn't finish the whole song, because at some point he forgot to keep singing because he was staring at Wilson in horror. "Uh..." He cleared his throat. "Wow, Jimmy, that's terrible. You either need to drink more or less, I'm not sure which."

Chase let out a genuine laugh at Wilson's dancing. "God, that's horrible," he said, amused. He turned to House. "At least you can sing. Sort of makes up for it."

House smirked and held up his cup as if in toast. "Damn straight I do. I do everything well, haven't you figured that out yet?"

Chase poured half a cup into House's, withholding from Wilson. "Jury is out on whether you do everything well," he said with a smirk.

House knocked back the drink and then smirked again. "Everything. You'll just have to take my word for it."

He sighed happily and leaned back in his seat, looking positively content.

Chase's smirk just grew a little bit wider. "I think you're bluffing," he said, his voice lilting a bit teasingly, before he turned to Wilson. "Really, Wilson, in future, you should...stop with the drunk-dancing," he said. "For everyone's benefit."

Looking a bit defeated, Wilson dropping to the floor beside House's chair. "But you still love me, right?" He looked up, and brown eyes sought out blue. "And you know, I can tell him how damn good you are, but he won't know it unless you show him."

House laughed. "No, I think you should just tell him. He'll believe you. Won't you, Rob?"

"Rob, is it?" Chase ventured, surprised, shifting the chair so he could put his feet up on the counter, winding up closer to Wilson. He tipped his head to Wilson. "How come House is so afraid of me?" he inquired.

"He's afraid you're better than he is." Wilson arched a brow at House.

House's mouth dropped open. "Am not!" Then he scowled. "Okay, maybe just a little. But it's only because of the damned leg. And I not afraid of him."

Chase turned his attention to House. "So what is it?"

"What is what?"

House actually smiled. "Come on. I love you, man."

Chase let his feet fall from off the counter, turning to look at House in perplexed shock. "What..." House had just smiled. House had actually just been friendly. House was being nice.

"Did I just get hit over the head?" he asked, confused. "Am I dreaming?"

"If you are, I am too," Wilson said almost in a daze. "So go kiss him already!" Wilson nudged House's leg. The left one, yes.

House gave him an 'art you nuts?' look. "You really want me to kiss him?" he asked skeptically, waving his empty glass. "Because I'm just drunk enough to do it."

"Dr Chase!" Wilson bellowed iin his best stage voice. "This man needs another drink. And then he's going to snog yu senseless." WIlson giggled, and held his cup up for a refill,

Chase was pouring the drink without even realizing what he was doing. And that Wilson was giggling. He poured half cups of all of them and put them just out of reach.

"Only if you want," he said.

"Oh, for Christ's sake," House muttered.

He grabbed his cane and pulled himself up, crossed the short distance to Chase, and very deliberately reached down, grabbed one of the cups, and knocked back the contents.

Then he grabbed the front of Chase's shirt, hauled him to his feet, and kissed him.

This time, he was tipsy and he thought, 'screw holding back'. One hand faltered down to House's good leg, stroking up as he clambered to grab onto his hip. His fingers curled, bunched fabric underneath his fingertips as he let the world stop spinning around him long enough to kiss back, lips already parted from the shock.

But he pushed back against the kiss, sucking slowly on House's lower lip before kissing back with just as much force as was given.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Wilson grabbed the bottle they'd been drinking fro which was nearly empty at this point, and took a long swallow straight from the bottle. He sloshed a bit on ihs chin, the front of his shirt earning a sizeable wet spot.

House had mostly been expecting Chase to push him away. Maybe even slap him or something. So this... was that a hand on his thigh? Holy fuck.

He couldn't pretend he didn't like it. So he didn't bother. Especially since Wilson really didn't give a fuck.

He growled low in the back of his throat and put his arm on the small of Chase's back to haul him even closer. Not good at everything, my ass.

Chase nearly stumbled forward, but regained his balance by pushing his other hand through House's hair, down to his neck in order to steady himself, lips parting a little more and as he licked his own lower lip, he wound up licking House's too, as though hesitantly asking permission.
