The Doctor watched Chase take the call, but he could see from years of knowing his posture, his body language, that it didn't throw him as much as it might have done, even now. He had been about to step up to him, to say something, when the patient--Kayla--approached him, and he wasn't sure what to say, didn't want to ruin their privacy.
