"I never knew her," Rahne says, shaking her head, "and I don't think he really did, either, beyond what he paid for." If there's a hint of bitterness in her tone, it completely can't be helped. No matter how guilty she feels for what she did to her father, the man was an utter hypocrite. "As far as I know, though, no, and he certainly didn't. Sometimes it just happens that way. I got lucky."
